The Jack Herer strain is a cross between Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5 and Haze. It was named this way in honor of Jack Herer by Ben Dronkers, founder of the Sensi Seed Bank. It has sativa dominant characteristics, with a flowering time up to 75 days. It’s a very popular strain and has won the High Times Cannabis Cup several years and running.

Jack Herer(b. 1939) is the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes , a book which has been used in efforts to decriminalize cannabis.
A former Goldwater Republican, Herer is now a pro-marijuana and hemp activist. He has written two books, the one previously mentioned above and Grass. There has also been a documentary made about his life. He believes that the hemp plant should be decriminalized because it has been shown to be a renewable source of fuel, food, and medicine, and can be grown in virtually any part of the world, and that the U.S. government deliberately hides the proof of this. He has devoted his life to the support of cannabis, hemp and marijuana. (SO HAS THE BANGER SISTERS, WE ARE ACTIVISTS….LOL ACTIVELY SMOKING).
Jack Herer is also the name given to a specific strain of cannabis that is considered by Herer to be among the world’s finest.
Herer ran for United States President twice, in 1988 (1,949 votes) and 1992 (3,875 votes) as the Grassroots Party candidate.
In July 2000, Herer suffered a minor heart attack and stroke, resulting in difficulties speaking and moving the right side of his body. As of May 2004, Herer has mostly recovered, claiming Cannabis Sativa was responsible for much of his recovery.

As Bud heads we all need to thank Jack Herer in a major way, especially the states that have medical marijuana dispensaries (CALIFORNIA). He has been out here doing foot work putting it down for the decriminilization and legalization of marijuana for quite some time. I just want to thank Jack Herer for his hard work and his strain of herbals……..its definitely a fave on the Banger Sisters list.

Among them are the highly carcinogenic polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, a prime suspect in cigarette-related cancers. These toxins are essentially a byproduct of combustion, separate from the pharmaceutically active components of marijuana, known as cannabinoids, which include THC. When you burn marijuana it produces quite a lot of tar. Pipes and joints generally do not have proper filters. Bongs are not the answer, because you inhale concentrated smoke.
The vaporizer certainly reduces the level of tar. You will not have to worry about the harmful carcinogens your body is absorbing when you inhale marijuana smoke.
I will suggest 2 places that I use the first one is Legal Bud!

Politicians are 10 years behind the times, when it comes to hemp use. People have been fighting for along time against pot prohibition with some movement going on now. Still too slow for those caught up in the jail system. Our freedoms have been trampled on by folks who know nothing about how beautiful cannabis can be for someones life. Keep up the good work.
