As a sista it has always been important for me to express myself through HARD ROCK, PUNK AND METAL.. don’t get it twisted.. as you see we fools with FUNK, OLDIES, JAZZ and especially HIP HOP.. but right now.. I would like to reflect on some of the most influential BLACK PEOPLE IN METAL AND ALTERNATIVE..

This band is from SOUTH CENTRAL , LA.. there debut album was released in I believe 1994. They are emulated by most of these local ghetto bands that are running amuck. Not only are these brothers my family but they are premiere musicians.. They are dedicated and this is why it pisses me off that they have not blown up to the level that they should have.. This is why I want to slap the piss out of a motherfucker like Lil Wayne because he thinks he is hard rock.. PSSH NIGGA PLEASE.. YOU AIN’T BOUT THAT LIFE..!!!!

There are so many that have waved their flag for the harder side of things.. everyone from Mother’s Finest, Parliament and Jean Beauvoir (Plasmatics)  to  Pat Smear and Tom Morello.. Alternative has seen the likes of Grace Jones and The Bus Boys to 24 7 Spyz and Ernie Isley… WE ARE OUT CHEA!!! AND WE PLAY GUITAR MUTHAFUCKAZ.. (and bass, double drum.. rimshot. YOU GET THE PICTURE LOL..!!! Let’s end this with Jean and Wendy O’ Williams.

The Plasmatics.. Jean is all in white.. I often wondered if he rocked the motorcycle helmet or in this case the damn EXECUTIONER or reverse Klan hood lol..  because he didn’t want to shock the OFAYS..*kanyeshrug* i am just sayin LOL..

  1. Oh no! You totally left out Suffocation. Not only are they one of the most influential American Death Metal bands EVER, but their long-time (and OG) lead guitarist Terrance Hobbs and drummer Mike Smith have totally shaped the genre with their playing, particularly Hobbs’ guitar technique.

    Put up a quick bio and some tracks off of Effigy of the Forgotten or Souls to Deny. Show everyone what’s up!

  3. Clearly we will have to do a part 3 , 4 and 5.. lol I AM QUITE FAMILIAR WITH JON BUTCHER AXIS.. as well as Hobbs and Mike and ya boy.. Mike Smith. HOWEVER ..LOL. A NIGGA CAN NOT POSSIBLY PUT UP allllllllll of the black folk involved with metal, classic rock etc..
